I’m so bless that I lived in the technology era now.because I realized that many things easier with technology :),especially learning.

When I was a child I remember that I learned some words from song and games,then when I grew up my parents introduce me to learn with visual audio thing - TV,DVD,games. And as I grow up now I think It’s my turn to make a media.

I know I can’t make an exactly new evolution of media or something new like that ,ut at least I can share many stories or videos about my experience,knowledge etc :)

and yeap on last emerging class I was presenting about media development for learning and it’s totally fun!because me and my partner,Momo, made some tutorial using windows movie maker .I know everybody must be already know to use this simple software but it’s the easiest software that useful for a beginner video maker :p(like me :D hahahah)

On the last class of emerging class,My friends presented about E-portfolio.

Sounds fun and interesting.I wonder if I made my own e-portfolio for apply some job maybe in the future.but well in this case what is E-portfolio??

E-portfolio is is a collection of work developed across varied contexts over time. The portfolio can advance learning by providing students and/or faculty with a way to organize, archive and display pieces of work.
The apperiance looks like a blog but E-portfolio contents more serious archieve to share like many things that he/she ever learn,educational background,experience,etc

Yea…Have you ever been thought that you’re a social network freak??

Ok,I realize about it btw,I’m a social network and social media freak!

Actually it’s not kind of strange thing because Indonesian People are addicted with Internet (ok especially social networks).It was proved that Indonesia became Facebook’s third Largest Country in May 2010 :)

It’s very usual facing many people using and playing facebook,twitter or any social networks in Indonesia. But after I staying in Korea, I found a lot of differences.

It’s shocked me that country like China and Korea have their own social networks and it’s more popular in their country than facebook.hahaha.For example in Korea —> www.cyworld.com

Ans some of international students who’re  come  from US or europe aren’t social network’s addicted .I’m curious why social network it’s very common in my country ahha

Ok whatever it was I think each of them who didn’t want to be freak in social network have their own reason but actually me,as a social network addicted realized there’s also the negative effect from being addicted with Social Networking .In my Opinion well there are several negative & Positive effects:

(+) Build your link to your future

(+) Communicate and Stay update with friends’s information

(+) We can learn many new things that we saw  from our friend’s post,our friend’s talk etc

(-) It’s a cyber,not a real world! 

(-) etc (it’s a lot,I bet you guys know the effects :) )

It’s Wednesday and it’s time for Emerging Technnologies and Learning Class yeah!!

I got something curious after I attended that class.Today class is talked about how to make a concept map and well I’m a little bit confused about this concept.

W.H.Y?

because  actually I have ever learned and usually used Mind Mapping for study  and I think it was little bit same with Concept Map.Because It’s about how can you construct everything in your mind to be sistematic as a topic that you want to build .

Have you ever know the difference between Mind Map and Concept Map:

Concept Maps:

• have separate arc and nodes —> can be named &annotated.
• allow non-hierarchical relationships, even recursion, (do not force tree structures).
• permit spatial placing / arrangement of nodes and arcs

Mind Maps:

• use labeled arcs only
• are predominantly bifurcating (tree like structures)
• clustering is mostly via color or line thichness rather than spatial

Until now,although I know what is Concept Map,I’m still comfortable to learn with Mind map,because you can show  your own opinion more than in concept map.But It’s a good experience to try concept map :)

Actually i take 4 courses for this semester,one of them is called “Emerging technologies and learning “courses.Sounds Hard huh?.But you know i think it’s the most enjoyable courses for now because we’re talking about many technologies nowadays ,so it would be fun 

Now, I’m going to talk about some class material that i got from eclass.It’s about the development of technology inside of process of learning and about Web 2.0 :)

Why i said so?

And the knowledge of  technologies can be called as general thing in our life :).So the most important to face all of the changes is from ourself  , like skills for adaptation,skill to know and searching for something new and you got to follow or make your ways to face many things changed .Someday maybe we don’t need to sit to get a class or maybe someday there’s no education formally because people suggested that technologies “ALONE”can help them , you can saw it from this video:

Technologies change our life,our lifestyle , we make and  develope it that’s why we got to know how to use it and also we can offer some knowledge or information from it as well. 

Like any other technology, the web also envolving and it’s envolving rather quickly.

Have you heard about Web 2.0? 

many people unconsciously use this  besides many webs especially most of social network are using web 2.0 like Facebook,Twitter,etc.Web 2.0 allow users to interact not only with the site and webmaster(it’s happened just in web 1.0) but  users can also interact with other people who access the site. It’s just not about the improvement of social network with web 2.0 ,It’s about  how people learn and learn so the technology can be evolved and can be used by people around the world.
